I want to show off my accessories today, because they're special...
I recently won this necklace in a drawing from Jodi Bloom of So-Charmed.
I own more jewelry pieces than days left in my life to wear it all, so I
have a real hard time justifying new jewelry purchases. I'm so excited
to have won this one because I wanted a piece of Jodi's work real real bad,
and now I get to have one without the post-purchase guilt. This necklace
is super tiny and delicate compared to the stuff I usually wear. I'm
afraid today it's kind of lost in a mess of my hair.
I've also got on this necklace of my own making (and it's in the shop here) because I felt like layering, and it goes perfectly with my tie dye top. Unfortunately it kind of dwarfs the other necklace.
Then
I've got this pinned to the pocket of my cardigan. I just threw this
brooch together because I wanted to wear the pendant- custom made for
moi by Erin Prais-Hintz of Tesori Trovati- but I haven't had the time to design a piece worthy enough to become it's permanent home yet.

Distracted.
Hi folks. Just a note to say we're still here, and we're still managing the store.
My focus has been elsewhere since illness forced me to take a vacation. I've been wanting to do more traditional art- perhaps because I need that form of expression lately. You can check out my traditional art here and Kim's here.
I'm sure my desires will turn back to making new jewelry things sooner or later. In the meantime I'm going to try to catch up with the 822 blog posts I've missed by fellow jewelry makers and clayers. Yeesh!
